They have stopped putting the stripes on the wires probably to save a nickel. They don't matter anyways just connect them.

btw if ever you need another rectifier (unregulated) this type should work fine .. just mount it securely with a bolt

this is a simple full wave rectifier (replaces 3 legged ones )

wire yellows on the AC pins and out comes DC ground and +12V

just wire the ground to the engine frame to compete the circuit

cheaper…

just add some heat shrink over thje pins to insulate and recure them down

That one will not work on a 4 cylinder motor. The V4 uses a liquid cooled rectifier.

I agree fully. they will not replace specialized applications but for general full wave rectification of AC they should work fine. they do warm so they must be bolted... better yet a small aluminum plate under them will help.

I have actulally used them to merge brake and turn signals into a 2 filament trailer bulb circuits the other being the running filament (parking light) they are dirt cheap compared to fancy " converter modules" for trailers . one module is neede for the left side and one for the right side of the car/truck

notice: upon breaking the flashing turn signal will be overidded by the brake function for a few moments

they even make them with 3 AC inputs for 3 phase rectification

No it should be more than the battery voltage but it wont be by much. 12.8-13.5 depends on your system and the condition of the battery..
