I purchased a new rectifier for my 1988 120hp Johnson, the gasket was not included. I am not near a parts house and when I look online at the BRP site it says the gasket is obsolete. can I use silicone or do I need to try to find a new gasket as the old one is not usable. if I was near a partshouse I would make one but I do not have any gasket material.

Re: Rectifier Gasket

DO NOT attempt to use silicone.

I find it impossible that the gasket is no longer available. A mistake must have been made.

The original part number is 330412 and has been superseded up to part number 344472.

Check again.
