1984-1988b models are 4250-5250 rpm

1988c-1989 is 4500-5500

You should select a prop that will let you reach the upper limits when the boat is lightly loaded.

It is usually better to be a little high on the rpm, than to be too low.

Re: Recommended RPM Force 125

Its the last letter of the model number, as in 1258F8C

I doubt that it is that critical.
I would try to get 5200-5500 rpm and call it close enough.

You may have trouble getting a prop to zero it in exactly, as there are getting to be fewer prop choices available for that motor, at a reasonable price.

Re: Recommended RPM Force 125

Roscoe there is the Hustler prop that will work. The only problem is is you need a new thrust washer. I got mine from Phils propshop.com. If I buy a replacement hub or prop I can get that here I just have to trick it into the corect prop. It's the 1A hub and the OMC prop. It fits but have yet to run it but soon very soon! Phil said that it works great.
I wonder if anoyone has seen a SS prop on a Force motor. :D
