Recommend a prop?

What is a really good ss prop? I am considering a Michigan Wheel Apollo or Balistic seris prop. Are these quality props? If not, what would you suggest me buying. Looking to stay under $500.00.

Talk to someone in your area who rebuilds SS props. You will learn tons about the topic. Personally, I like the way Mercruiser matches their props to their drives. Get your recommended prop part numbers and shop on ebay.<br /><br />I bought a 23 pitch Merc Laser 2 on ebay for $150, and spent another $150 at a good rebuild shop to cut the pitch down to 22. That took all the vibration out of my 1999 Alpha leg and pushed <br />my old Baja 19 footer to 63 mph with good hole shot.
