I'm new to boating. Can anyone recommend a good retail store in Toronto with good prices AND good service for my boat accessory needs?

Trevor,

All depends on what you are looking for. Prices are high in Toronto (Canada) compared to the U.S.

What are you looking for?

I can probably point you in the right direction?

I'm a south etobicoker or a trentonian depending on day of week..

Joe

Trevor...what part of Toronto, I use the Rigging Shoppe in Scarboro and John's Marineland in Markham. Again it depends on what you are looking for?

There is a new shop just opened at Fifty point marina I was just reading the "ad" for it yesterday in the "Sun" looks huge I am going to check that out looks like they have a wide selection of goods too.Sorry it's not in T.O. but take a nice cruise across the lake Fifty Point is great restaurant, picnic tables marina supplies and all that very well kept, clean etc.Should find something there you like.

US shops are a little out of the way for me as I live/work downtown Toronto. I ended up going to genco marine on king street last nite to buy a $400.00 force 10 bar-b-q. I got there at 5.55 pm and store is closed even though their sign says closing time is 6pm. Wasted trip and i'm a bit peeved. Guess I'm giving my future business to the dock shoppe on Queens Quay east even if it is a little more pricey.
