Can someone kindly tell me if a recoil assembly from an AD-!! will work on my AD10M? I have located an AD-11 assembly but when going to marineengine.com, there are no parts numbers for the AD-11 so I cant match them up to see if it will work on my AD-10M. If it will work on my motor, my 3 week search may be coming to an end. Yeee Haaa

You can use any of the '57 7.5 hp models shown on marine engines. The part numbers for any model '57 should be the same for evinrude and johnson recoils to compare numbers for the '56.

If I'm not mistaken, all the AD models (1956 - 58 use the same single pawl starter assembly. 1954 - 55 had the earlier tripple pawl set up with the rachet ring mounted on the flywheel.
