New heads arrived today!!!<br /><br />

<br /><br />What is the hole for on the exhaust manifold side? Is it a spot for some kind of sensor? Do I just need to plg it with a pipe plug?

I remember it being used for water temp senders on cars, marine units have a flush plug in them.

Tony,<br /><br />Just get a cast iron or brass plumbing plug the right thread size and plug it. I had to do this in a couple of places when I did my repower. In fact, I found some of the plug available in my old block and heads, just removed and transplanted them.

Nice,..........<br /><br />Are they the 902s,.. or the 062s,.??<br /><br />As stated,... Any pipe plug will fit,.... I like the Sq. drive Rachet driven plugs the best,....<br />Less chance of "Interference" issues later......<br /><br />You might have an extra 1 that might fit if you get that GM manifold,........It looks like it comes with a few.......

just make sure the plug dosent interfere with the manifold

They are 062's......got 'em off ebay......brand new in unopened GM boxes....<br /><br />Does it matter what the material of the plug is?<br />i.e. galv, aluminum, etc....
