Rebuilt stator

Has anyone ever used these services to have their stator rebuilt? Not a bad price considering the price of a new one.

I have had stator's rebuilt for motorcycles for about the same price and sometimes you can find a shop that re-builds starters and alternators that will do them.

I tend to prefer the "stay local" approach on those repairs.

CDI/Rapair has an impeccable reputation. I've heard they rebuild troublesome ones with heavier gauge wire where possible.
