I appologize if this was answered somewhere else or if it is so simple that i should know the answer. I have a little michanical background but not much.
So i was having issues where the engine would only run at WOT and it was suggested to Rebuild the carb, I finished rebuilding the carb last night and today when i started the engine it started right up but it will only idle(it seem very slow) the tac says its idling around 400rpm's but it seems slower than that. It was running at that speed for about 3-4 mins and then when i throttled up it died, i tried this a few times and it kept dieing. Then i tried starting it with some throttle and it would run for 30-60 secs then start dieing again. Did i do something wrong or is there something that i should adjust? Like the Idle mixture needle? or the float? or does it seem like i screwed something up inside the carb?
I will be in and out all day so i will try to get back to you all when i see questions and such.
