Hi,i'm just going to start to rebuild water pump, cylinder head and exhaust covers and i do not want the bolts to seize when and if i need to take apart in the future so what should i used to prevent this, just grease the threads or is there something specific for this job. i will grease the shafts of the bolts with marine grease.or is this the down side to living around salt water mmmmmm.

Re: rebuilding 1989 force 50

additional question to this post is that i want to make the gaskets myself(exhaust and lower unit to block gaskets only),the engine has a 1" plate attached to it then this is attached to the lower leg but the gasket for this quite thick is there a reason for the thickness?.Reason for all this is that delivery is going to take toooo long (2wks)and i would miss a very important wkend on the water.
