Rebuild Trim Rams, or just go with SEI?

So I have my trim rams pulled apart for my Bravo drive, and I was about to rebuild them when I saw that SEI sells them for $120 a pop. To me that is a good price. My rams have some corrosion and pitting all over them, but paint can fix that. What worried me is that the line attachment points are pretty buggered up, and it was REALLY hard to unscrew them.
Has anyone had any experience with the SEI rams, or should I attempt to rebuild mine?

Hi Guys:

Three years ago I bought a pair of SEI rams for a pre-alpha outdrive. I don't remember the price but like you, I thought "What a good deal"! They've performed without a problem ever since. I'd do it again in a heartbeat because they have a great warranty.

That does sound like a good deal....but I only paid $50 on ebay for two rebuild kits and an afternoons worth of work.

New does sound good though.

Maybe buy the new ones, put em on, then buy the rebuild kits and, when you get some spare time, rebuild the ones that came off for "shelf spares" (that's what I would do) or you could sell em as "rebuilts".

I have noticed that in use parts VERY rarely fail if you have a spare one waiting to go on.

These rams are perfect so far. I would recommend them.
