I need to pick up some oil on the way home and cannot remember what weight oil is recommended.

Anyone know off the top of their head?

Thanks,
Chris

Well, thats not very helpful :)

Seems like it was something like Quicksilver 20w-50 or something...is that right?

Some boaters swear by a different weight, and brand.
They will chime in.

Don,

My bad. I use Firefox to read the forums, and I'm behind a firewall at work and photobucket is banned.

SO, your post shows up blank in Firefox because the pictures are blocked so I thought it was an empty post

Funny, unless are engines can talk to us or we blow one up, how do we know what they really like? We should just follow the mfg oem guidlines like what Don put up. I was told by a mechanic to run straight 30w but the book says to use 40w for the outside air temp where I always go, so I will split the dif next oil change and use 25-40w, also what the book says.
