Reading Chris Craft Hour Meter

Is there anybody that can explain how to read an original 1984 dial style hour meter. The meter appears to have 3 dials each a different color and the meter has 3 sets of numbers each a different color also. Thank you.

I'm just pulling this out of my hat but I'd think each different dial and number would stand for 100 - 10 - and then either single hours or 1/10th of an hour.
Take a look and see if the dials and the number's somehow match up to that sequence.
Any possible way to contact the PO?
As TD mentioned a pic would be neat - still couldn't probably tell you how to read it but I'd just like to see the thing.

Appears to be a 600hr dial - how would you know if it went around?
