I have a 1991 immaculate dynasty boat with a yamaha outdrive. Where can i get drive parts?

I have just purchased a 1995 boat tha has a yamaha 454 and yamaha o/d. I have never had anything to do with these types of motors or outdrives. I took the lower unit off looking for the water pump and didn't find one. Where I thought it should be. So upon further inspection have noticed the the motor has been equipt with a second water pump on the motor witch is tied into the floor of the boat and has a screen under the boat. Does anyone know anything about these types of setups and why they would of did away with pump in outdrive. Any answer would help please. Thanks John

A pic would be good. What ya have is probblay a seawater pump,and strainer setup. It should have a seacock where it goes through the hull also.

Yamaha never installed pumps in their outdrives. Belt driven pump with a thru hull fitting is about as good as it gets for cooling. Being you have an Hydradrive , might best get familiar with the systems before tearing into things.
