Re:Trim hose "O" ring and retainer replacement.
Hi, I've got a Penta DPS-A drive unit 2008 and I need to replace the four "O" rings and retainers on the trim hoses at the pump manifold. (Volvo Kit # 3889431) There's a retaining plate with two Allen headed screws holding the hoses in. I think I read somewhere that it's not quite as simple as just removing the two screws to access the fittings. If I recall, something about the pump dropping, or similar. Has anybody any advice to offer before I do something that gonna tick me off.
