re registering my boat

I know several here are from my state of North Carolina and hope they can help. My boat registration expired many years ago but I still have the registration renewal card that the state wildlife folks sent me then. I have since then (1991) moved . On the wildlife website it was rather confusing so can anyone tell me how to send for my new registration and sticker. To get the tag for the trailer I know I will have to go to DMV so that isnt a problem . thanks.

i suggest calling them and asking. you have what you need, you just have to say it was being restored, and was not in use. and change the address.

if its anything like MN you just need to go in and get a new sticker. Just tell them it has sat behind your garage on the trailer since then. No different then if you let a car sit next to your garage and the tabs expired.
