Hi again men, I have recently purchased a used Tohatsu 30 EP with five hours on the clock from a friend of mine. It comes with an eleven inch pitch prop.
I will be using the engine on a thirteen foot Boston Whaler for inshore bass fishing and will be fishing alone on most occasions so the whole setup will be at minimum weight.
I have been looking over here in the UK for a thirteen or fourteen inch pitch prop and the quoted prices are pretty steep.

On Ebay today there is a new Hustler prop, thirteen inch pitch that will fit my engine for BuyItKnow £78 ($133) which is a considerable saving over the Tohatsu prop.

I’ve read a little on these props, do you guys know of any issues concerned with fitting them and there reliability or maybe you have one.
Or should I just bite the bullet and buy the genuine article. Any advice would be most welcome.
Tight lines

Re: Re propping a Tohatsu

I purchased a Hustler prop, from iBoats, for my 40C. I had some initial issues with the thrust washer, but the Hustler tech rep cleared it up. The Hustler has been discontinued by Turning Point proppellers.

Use the prop finder here at iBoats. Not sure if they ship to you, but the US pricing is better than what you quoted.
