Hi all I have a 225 mercury xri at the moment I have a turning point 14x19 4 blade wot 5700 43 knots
Will I gain any more speed by changing to a 3 blade and what size ??
Generally, a 3 blade will run faster than a 4 blade. When switching from 4 to 3, it is recommended to add an inch of pitch if dealing with props of similar design and same material.
