re jetting after rebuilding

I wanted to know if you should re jet your carbs after rebuilding a 2000 175 johnson . .30 over ?? crowely recomended .0002 up on the jets

i would run it stock and watch the plugs .
you can also push your primer selinoid and if it stumbles you may be all right for a quick check,there are some other people that will chime in .

Who is backing the warranty? If it's Crowley then do it. If they built it and are warranting it then they should have already done it.

The bottom line is - if they are backing the warranty it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Unless you don't want the warranty.........

Any engine I build over .030 gets up sized jets!! .020 can run stock jets as long as no head work(shaved) or swap was done (higher compression ratio).I have see as much as a 500 rpm GAIN by upjetting and have seen no gain too...
