Re: Intro and Resto- '74 Glastron Carlson CV21
Please need help.
Have a 72-74 Glastron Carlson Cv 21, which I have totally restored over many many years. I have a major problem with white smoke exiting engine breather?s. I thought is was a pistor ring problem (blow-by) so motor out and apart again. New rings, hone, heads etc, back in boat, guess what still doing it.
I do not have a water in oil pan problem. As I am running the original 455 olds I berilley 12 JC Jet closed cooling system. This white smoke problem starts to occur when RPM relacing 2,500 & up.
I believe, actually have been led to believe I have a condensing problem. Have heard about a home made vapor condensation canister separator system. Please can someone help out here (about to go crazy). I am into general engineering with 30 years automotive experience, most of which has been with drag racing. Not a total nitwit but at the moment feel like one.
Sincerely
Pete
