rd-19-c johnson fuel to oil ratio

hi, my name is josh could anyone tell me what the ratio for oil to gas is for a 1958 35 hp sea horse rd-19-c. Also don't know alot about the older motors is this a good one?

The recommendation is that it should run on 20:1 or 5%

That would be 2 pints of oil in 5 gallons of gasoline, using a TCW3 2 stroke outboard engine oil.

For smaller quantities that is

6.4 fluid ounces per US gallon

8 fluid ounces per UK (Imperial) gallon

50mls per litre

Correct...24:1 is also acceptable with todays, modern TCW-3 marine oils. They are good/great motors...lots of torque/power and reliable when maintained correctly.
