Raystown Lake, PA - Anyone headed there this weekend?

I'm planning on going up this weekend and wondered how the crowds have been this year, I know they were full over memorial day weekend, hoping for better this weekend!

Not going this weekend, but I wouldn't mind planning a trip there someday soon myself. We're a little less than 4 hours east of there & it looks like a great place. Probably do a Thurs - Sun at some point with a tent & the boat.

That's my plan for later this fall too. The wife, dog, boat and a tent for a long weekend when the crowds disappear.

Did you make it to Raystown for the weekend. We were up since Wed night just got home. It was a great weekend.

I did make it up there, unfortunetly later on saturday than planned (10:30am). James Creek Launch was full and we just made it to the Tatnum Run launch with 1 space left after us. Weather was great it was a beautiful day! Surface temp was 79-80, it felt great!

I may make the pull to Raystown this coming weekend. It's about 2 hours east for me. Probably be packed for the 4th. May not, either. :redface:

No it is a mad house for the 4th. We go to a cove and don't move till Mon.
