Hi, I’m in a more remote location and my buddy has 2 of these in his Boston Whaler 345 Conquest. His compass with in the units are screwed up. They spin the direction around on the displays. Is it hard to recalibrate the compass / direction of the boat within the displays.

If it’s possible to recalibrate the compass, how?

Yes, if you go under the menus for devices, there is a way to calibrate them, but.....
If it spins the displays around, are the units set for course up, head up, or north up?
Is there any metal close to the compass causing it to be off?
When driving the boat(s) in a straight line, does the compass and GPS head match (or within a few degrees)?

Its easy to recalibrate the compass if you have a autopilot head unit, but if not, then its buried in the menus of the units.
