Raymarine A65 Wiring

I am installing my new unit and I am wondering if I should put a fuse on the Red Power wire? All my past units have had one but its not on this one. If so how would I know what AMP fuse to use? Finally, should I be running this power cord directly to the battery or can i just hook it up to the panel with the rest of my wires? Thanks for the help!

Trench, You need a fuse somewhere in the circuit. If you are running it off an accesory switch that had a fuse, I think you are OK. If you are connecting directly to power, add in inline fuse. Use a good inline fuse, or it won't last too long.
