I purchased a new seaflow 33 water pump for my raw water. The barb connection is 3/4 inch and the tubing i purchase is 3/4 inch ID. WHen i attach the barb to the tubing it slide in and out without adding the clamps to it. My question is, is the correct size tubing for the barb or am I going nuts? Also this pump says us a 18amp fuse should I go 15 or 20?

If its 3/4 nipple and 3/4 hose just clamp it and take a nap. Keep the 18 Amp fuse.

Why would you not use the recomended 18a fuse?
There is no fuse attached to the device unless its inside the motor. The instructions stated to use a 18 amp fuse, I was asking if I should use a 20 or 15 since i can not find a 18 amp blade fuse.

Good point. IF I'm looking at the right pump it draws 8 amp max, I'd go with a 15amp.

Pump Model: SFDP1-030-045-33
Pump Voltage: 12V DC
Pump Flow: 3.0 GPM
Pump Shut-Off Pressure: 45 PSI
Pump Max Amperage: 8.0 A
