Re: rapala lures

On my Raps there is usually a model type or name printed in the bill, like Countdown or Original, for example. They look identical, but one floats and the other doesn't.

The newr Rapalas have less info on the bills. Sinkers/Floaters are easy to figure out, but sometimes individual lures have a diff action or whatever.

Basic designs are available on their website.

Re: rapala lures

When I buy a new Rapala, if the plastic bill doesn't have the dive depth written on it, I write it on the bill using a permanent Sharpie. That way, as I'm rummaging through my Raps looking for one that's good to use for the water depth I'm working, I just look at the plastic bill to see my little written notation "6'-8'" or whatever.
