the ac is not working which I wasent to worried about but it blows hot air all the time like the heater is on with the controlls on vent and cold
when ac turned on the compressor clutch does not kick in. I have not put guages on it

Start with the clutch, cgd. Look for a fuse.

Start with the easy stuff first, then get the charge checked.

I would check the heater control. If it's blowing hot air all the time could be the doors in the heater box are not moving when you move the controls. Make sure all that is working before you spend money on a recharge.

The heater door, or for that matter the hot water hose valve, will not correct the failure of the clutch to engage. He may have two or more problems.

You can use a jumper wire from battery positive to the clutch power terminal to see if the clutch works. If so, see if it cools as you expect. (About a 20 degree drop from ambient temperature) If it does, you'll have to find out what's stopping the clutch from working normally. If the clutch doesn't engage, it's bad.

Check also to see if you have 12 volts to chassis ground at that terminal when the A/C is turned on. If so, the clutch is bad. If not you'll have to look for the reason it's not powered. Could be lack of refrigerant, bad pressure switch, etc.

He has more problems than just the clutch. Like I said I would get the other problems corrected before I spent a dime playing with the AC.

I am going to check the blend door this aftenoon.
I did jumper out the low pressure switch and the clutch kicked on
but I am going to figure out the other stuff first I can live without ac but I can't live with a heater that blows all the time
