I just got a Photobucket account (long overdue), and I wanted to share some pics of my boat and friend's boats and other stuff from my life with my new friends at iBoat...
First...
The only known picture of my boat, Size Doesn't Matter. Before she was named and had the name on it. The guy in the blue shirt is my good friend Steve. I'm driving and in the black shirt and hat. The girl in the front is The Girlfriend. She's not paying attention.
When I'm not on the water, I'm on the street. This is my 2000 Chevrolet Suburban. I'm a big GM fan, and a huge Suburban fan. I collect 1/24 scale model Suburbans, and Subbys are just about the only vehicle I own (also currently own a Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup). The Subby is not stock, but I try to make her look semi-stock. This was for the 4th of July parade.
Side shot. My dad made me the bracket for the flags on the roof rack, and the brackets for the flags on the hood. Amazingly they worked well. My dad is a Marine Corps Vietnam Vet, and active member of the VVA and VFW, consequently, I do a lot of volunteer stuff for both groups, usually more so than their real members, but I have a good time.
Every year my yacht club has a contest for the Queen and Princess of the yacht club, it doesn't really mean anything, but all the girls who participate get to ride on the boat for the parade. I volunteer to pull a boat every year, and this past year I pulled a friend's 30' Baja.
