This is what happens in Milwaukee when it dounpours for a bit after a couple of months with no rain.
It rained for 10 minutes at work.
Unfortunately it DID NOT rain at my house.....the yard is still a desert.
hang in there pony. what goes around comes around.
we had a fraction of the normal yearly rainfall last year...too many days over 100 to remember. this year haven't had a day in the past 10 w/o rain. still in a drought though. just got my boat running after a long hiatus and it's raining every day.
I feel 'ya Pal. Three different storms passed over yesterday. First two talked a bunch of noise but didn't do anything, not a drop. Third dumped a solid inch in under 45 minutes.
been the same here for the better of 3 months. the lake is 2 foot low and the rain misses us every time. again tonight. rained few miles south and north but not here. done that 10 times in the past month. we got 1 good one 2 weeks ago. 1 1/4" of rain. thats about it in the past 2 months. my water bill last month was $98. but my yard is the only green one in miles. my neighbors is brown and has 2 foot stickers in it and the bumb wont mow.
ok its easy to tell but ill explain. my yard is a foot left of the holley bushes to the right. his is to left of bush line. pretty obvious. nothing is growing but weeds so he quit mowing. i mowed today. and ran the sprinklers again.
