Radiator Cap

Does anyone know where I can find a stainless steal radiator cap?<br /><br />I am looking for a radiator cap that will hold up in a saltwater enviroment.<br /><br />Maybe Plastic??<br /><br />Thanks for any help.

If you have a radiator cap you should not have salt water in the engine. Just fresh water and antifreez.

The saltwater is not in the system.<br /><br />This is actually for a kohler generator but is a standard automotive size. Moist salt air over the years has started surface corrosion on the cap and it just LOOKS bad. CANT HAVE THAT!!! :D <br /><br />Its a 13 psi cap.<br /><br />I had another idea I am checking into right now.<br /><br />PLASTIC??? :eek:

Stuff a rag in the fill of your radiator...that ainta gonna rust. Then it'll match the fill on your gas tank. :D Chief

Well the plastic cap got here.<br /><br />Wont work. It was a 16-18lb cap.<br /><br />I need a 13psi cap.
