radar arch....

In the near future I will be purchasing a newer and larger boat and am looking at some that have a radar arch on them. My question is this, a few I have been looking at the arch is pointing towards the bow, like the one pictured, almost looks backwards. Can I take it off and switch it around so it will be pointing towards the stern part of the boat?

Nothing unusual about facing forward.





I would not think mounting it the other way is going to be a trivial matter.

I like them either way. Keep in mind if you were able to flip it the canvas would not work if it's attached to the arch.

Ayuh,... The 1 in yer picture looks to be a reverse-able add-on,...

Many are not, 'n won't which ends,...

That is a factory sea ray arch, looks great as-is.

As AL mentioned, many these days are part of the canvas package you can get installed.

Also depends on if it's an arch for sheer "cruiser" or if you are going to be using it for fishing as the one on my 'Dancer is some type of metal (aluminum, stainless, I don't know how to tell the difference) with built in rocket launchers and spotlights.
Don't think I've seen a forward facing arch set up for fish fighting...though they could be out there.
