I have recently purchased a 1985 16ft Phantom race deck with a 85 horse outboard, unfortunately the fuel tank and associated pipe work was missing. Can anyone out there advise me on the size of fuel pump required, lts. per minute, pressure etc?. Or indeed do I need a fuel pump?. The engine is a 1985 Yamaha 3 cylinder 2 stroke flowed ported and bored with triple Hei Lin carbs tuned to 110 bhp. Also can you suggest a suitable prop.

Re: Racing Yamaha

Cant tell you much about your Fuel system but; the prop depends on the reccomemded max rpm of<br />the motor and the size, weight and hull design of your boat.If it has a prop now check the rpm with it.
