I want to buy a new little outboard motor by one of these three Mercury' Yamaha, and Honda. When I say little, I mean 2-HP, new, four strokes . I was wondering if anybody know who sales all three so that I can talk to them to compare. Or if someone already knows comparisons of these three. I need to know phone #s and or emails.
Thanks

All the single cylinder models are loud and annoying, none are quite or smooth when compared to the larger (or older) two cylinder models.

If you plan to use it for more than short periods of time, like trolling, or cruising around, get a twin. If you just need it as a small back up for safety reasons, then they're OK.

I want to get a motor to put on a one man pontoon boat to get around where bigger boat won't go. so it will be a primary motor. Electrics are nice but to much weight with battery.

my experience is that little motors don't make that much noise really when compared to things that can vibrate or rattle, so much more annoying.
