Hi, I was wondering, can the Quicksilver High Performance Extreme grease be used for both my drive shaft splines and my prop shaft splines. I looked around, but I didn't see anyone recommending the grease for the prop shaft splines.

Grease on the prop shaft serves 1 purpose - To allow the prop to be removed to be re-greased every Spring and more often if boating on the briny. As Bondo says;

The manual does and says to do it at least once annually, especially in salt water. I don't have any so I use the old tried and true, Lubriplate white, at any auto parts store. What we used back in the 1950's before anybody knew anything about OEM engine manufacturers specs....also used Amalie 30 Wt engine oil at 24:1 (Quart to 6 gallons)...Amalie, Pennsylvania Crude, Better Than it Has to BE (their motto).........before the days of TC-W (2 cycle-Watercraft) oils at 50:1 we have today.
