I cannot find a model number on the control, but will try to describe.
Boat 1983 Searay 270 with twin 5 litre. Quicksilver controls, to get nuetral you push the button in at the pivot point of the shifter arm on each side. The shifter arm,s are chrome tubes leading up to a black handle. Inside the black handle at the top are the trim buttons. I need to fully check this out as the trim button on port side is loose with no activity when pressed for up/down, and the starboard will only activate down, not up. Can anyone supply me a link to the removal, testing and possible repair/replacement of the buttons. When the cover is removed I see red/blue/green wires. I know red is power, blue is up, green is down, but there is no black for ground. where would the ground wire be? I would like to remove the assembly and completely clean it up and reinstall......Thanx

Re: quicksilver controls

There is no ground on the trim switch or control,The ground for the relays& motor are located on the trim pump motor bracket
