quicksilver 4pin harness

Quick question:

I get that the purple is +12 volts, the grey is the for the tach and the Black is GND. Why is the tan/blue striped wire in this harness. Does it go to a guage or to my main boat horn? I'm lost.

If the colors hold true for all merc products, that would be for an audible warning for oil preasure and water temp.

that makes for the the remote controller because it has a buzzer but why is this wire also in the tach harness fed to the console?
