Quick reply does not work right.

Hi all,
I just updated to IE8 yesterday and the first thing I notices is when I click the "quick reply" button at the bottom of a post it links to the "advanced" screen instead of allowing access to the small "quick reply" box at the bottom of every thread.
Anybody have a fix for this?

Click the "Post Reply" button at the top or bottom of the thread. That will put the cursor in the Quick Reply box.

Ah, I see what you mean. Those boxes in the posts work OK for me. Could be a browser issue or something.

I did some reading on IE8 and they have a compatible list and the ability to make IE8 act like IE7 on web sites. Have you read the microsoft (propaganda did I say that) web page on it?

ahhh... there it is Bob_VT. Good catch. If anybody else is having the same problem after they upgrade just click the button that looks like a torn piece of paper just to the right of the address bar. It's labeled the "compatibillity view" button.

you have to click on the third icon under the post at the bottom right that is what you have to do to activate the quick reply

Get rid of IE8. Its still beta and that means its still buggy. .
