Quick question about Fuel vent line length

My 22' Sea Ray has the fuel vent hose that goes through the starboard side of the hull about mid-ship. That means it has to penetrate the deck and lets water in. I am replacing the deck and stringers right now and I wanted to run the vent hose down the gunwale and back up through the back of the tank enclosure where the filler hose is now. It would make it around 15'. Is that a problem?

No, we have been extending fuel vent lines in wheeling for years, go ahead and do it, no problem.
