I've been having some water flow problems and I did put new impeller in. There was chunks of the old one I did have to take out. Water flow was not as good with new impeller kit. I just took it back apart and getting ready to install a new quicksilver kit. Other one was a cheap one. One question before I put it all back together... where the water tube goes In (as you can see in the pic) is that rubber/plastic piece supposed to be in there or is something fowled? I put water hose to it and it flushes both ways but I'm sure there is more pressure that way. Thanks for the help
