OK this should be easy.

Do Fluke hit at night? I've gotten conflicting reports and so far this year haven't seen much action once the sun goes down, but it might be my imagination.

Thanks!

Re: Quick Fluke Question

Since fluke locate prey by sight, I would think the action would be slow once the sun goes down. I would spend my time after dark trying for stripers and weakfish.

Re: Quick Fluke Question

I would imagine that you could catch them if you got a bait close enough to one but since they are sight feeders what they can't see they can't hit. Even cloudy water will shut them down.

Re: Quick Fluke Question

Almost any live bait you lower after dark at the depths that fluke are at will attract thousands of @#$%^&*()dogfish.

Yup! They still feed but not as aggressively.
