This is my first year not using antifreeze as I have adopted Bondo's (and others) "air don't freeze" approach. Can someone please confirm that I have indeed removed all of my drain plugs? I removed the following 5:

#1: Port Exhaust Mani (I have the new style VP manis with plugs)
#2: Star Exhaust Mani
#3: Port Block
#4: Star Block
#5: Intake Mani (3/8 square drive)

Not familiar with that specific engine but did you also drain the lower hose on the water pump and the steering cooler if it has one?

Yep. No steering cooler (jet drive)...My concern is that I found one on the intake manifold that is not listed in my shop manual...

The Intake Manifold drains into the Heads,.... Which drain into the Block,.......
Which you removed the Plugs From,.....

And Hopefully Water either came Gushing Out, or you Prodded,+ Reamed the holes out until it Did......

Manifolds are Dry,.....

The Big Hose is off the circulating waterpump,..??....

No P/Steering,....

Ayuh,........
Unless your Jet needs Draining,......
Or,..
You have a Domestic Water System,......

You Should be Good to Go.........

DHP

The main reason is that it is a royal PITA for me to get antifreeze into my system. I also worry about how thoroughly it is distributed, and no matter how hard I try I always spill from my exhaust. Then I have to deal with the antifreeze in the spring and it is very time intensive and difficult to collect and properly dispose of it. Draining everything makes more sense to me all the way around...

It did come gushing out, solid as big as the hole, but I poked around with wire anyway (didn't get anything).

Yep, and I turned it over for 2 seconds to make sure nothing was trapped in the pump (per the VP manual)
