I went to get gas and the thing was bouncing on the trailer like crazy. It just has the front winch strap and the back straps. The bow also isn’t touching the front roller. I’m paranoid of wrecking my new boat.

Is the bouncing normal?

does this look like it’s on far enough?

Your bow should touch the roller and you need a safety chain for the bow. From the trailer frame to the bow eye.
The boat is 2900lbs; is there a rule of thumb for the amount of weight the chain has to hold?

also, should the winch strap be very tight?

I keep mine very tight to stop any bounce.

The bow chain Tie Down has is only 3/16" so maybe 1000lbs?
It's an added safety to keep the boat on the trailer if the winch strap fails or you forget to attach the winch strap.

First thing to stop the bouncing, you need to winch the boat a few inches so the eye sits tight against/under the roller.
Second, your specific model does not use a safety chain. They use a ratchet strap from the bow-eye straight down to the V-shape loop on the trailer frame. (the loop is shown in your second pic).

below is best pic i have at the moment. Note the 1" strap, from the factory.

Yes
And as others have said, the bow should touch the roller.

No and No

crank the winch until the boat is tight against the bow roller

I see the V shape; but it didn't come with a ratchet strap. That's been rectified. :) I probably over ratchet strapped but that's just me.

After the first couple I got it back up on the trailer correctly and it seems much better.

I think you need a different bow roller set up that won’t interfere with the strap. I’d consider adding a real safety chain or a shackle like I have on mine. I have a 1988 200 Horizon on a roller trailer and use both the normal safety chain and the shackle.
