Hi folks. Ted here. Just joined the forum in search of answers about a center console Coho P134 I'm considering as an inexpensive Boston Whaler alternative. Can't find anything on line about 'em other than a couple dated sales, so I'm assuming they're long since out of business after trying to compete, unsuccessfully. Which brings me here for answers from the pros. :).

Any opinions on the quality of manufacture? The specific boat I'm looking at is in really impressive condition, 1-owner, fresh water, garage kept, etc. interior wood appears pristine in the photos. The engine is a 40hp Evinrude. Oil injected, but owner has disabled that feature and mixed his own fuel. Trailer is an '02, also looks very clean. Any info on the history of these boats and opinions on "reasonable" pricing is greatly appreciated. Said he'd take $3400. Cheers, Ted

Some say it's Mexican. Some say it's Scandinavian. I think the latter would be better. :)

Bottom line is that it's a Boston Whaler knock off ( fake).

The motor and trailer should determine a reasonable price, since you won't find any info in the NADA guide concerning the boat.

Did you end up with this boat? I have one also. They were manufactured in Anacortes WA, just for a few years. Mine is very well used, but is a great little boat. I actually like the rear layout and CC better than the same sized whalers.
