looking at a 2004 3100se with 5.0 MPI BRAVO III has 650 hours on both engines all fresh water is that to high and when do you think will need replacement or overhaul...everything on the boat is wonderful just concerned about the high hours and wife really likes so torn

Normal boat use is usually around 50 hours a year - so those are reasonable numbers. If you wonder about engine life do a compression check. With the boat itself being so well maintained, my bet is the maintenance on the motors would have been just as well maintained. So unlikely it was run with 4 year old oil, or not had the fuel tanks and filters kept clean. You should easily be able to double the hours if the engines are still holding a good compression.

My comments . .

#1 . No

#2. plan on some engine work after about 1200 hours, or 10-13 years from now, unless you use the boat significantly more than is is typical.
