I have a Quantum 16ft fiberglass fish and ski with a 50hp Force. It has a live well.
What is the fitting that sticks out of the rear of the boat and looks like a piece of threaded PVC pipe? This threaded pipe does not have any kind of cap on it. I have a leak into the bilge area and I am trying to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Question

NCOffseason:
If the treaded pipe is below the waterline and your live well is filled by flipping or turning on a switch then most likely that pipe has a pump attached to it that fills the live well. There are strainers you can put on them.

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wc...goryId=77&langId=-1&subdeptNum=70&storeNum=11

This link shows just one of several strainers available. I have seen some that screw on a standard 3/4 inch thru hull fitting.

Hope this helps a bit
Link

Oh 3M Marine adhesive sealant 5200 works well above and below the water line.. costs around 8-9 dollars for a 10 oz tube... even hardware stores carry it.
