Question on rubber nub on the bracket that holds the Impeller housing

Guys,
I changed our my Impeller this weekend and it was uneventful other than the fact that the runner nub on the metal bracket that holds the Impeller housing in place is deterioratingg and has turned in to gooeyy mess. Can this nub be replaced and if so where does one get this part? Thanks in advance.
