I have a 200 21' WA Seaswirl Striper with a 2006 150HP engine. For the longest time I have been having issues with the boat listing (I entered a posting on that topic a while ago).
I took the boat to the mechanic yesterday to have him change the shifting rod as there is a nation-wide recall by Honda and explained the listing issues to him and he recommend a couple of things. Hydraulic Steering and a bigger prop. So here are my questions:
Hydraulic:
I'm looking at a hydraulic package in eBay that is for up to 150HP engine. Do you guys think that is big enough for my boat. Since the add says Up to 150HP, I'm concern I may be pushing it. If not, what brand/model do you recommend?
Here is the one I'm looking at:

Propeller:
He recommended a 15.5x17 prop. The question is, do I go with stainless steel or aluminum? Why? what's the difference between one and the other (other than the material).
Thank you very much!!
