Question on how many people I'll be able to have in the boat with a skiier

So I have an 18 foot Grady White with a 135 hp mercury optimax. I was wondering if it would have the strength to get a skiier up with 4 adults in the boat. As far as I know the people who would be going with me would not be that great of skiiers but at the same time I think I would be the only person over 150 pounds. Thanks for your help.

The only way to know for sure would be to try it. I would think with the right prop it should do it.

My friend used to have a 60's era fibergalss runabout- maybe 16 footer with a 55 hp Johnson motor. We were able to pull a skiier (combo and slalom) with 4 in the boat.
I'm sure we were squeezing everything out of that motor that there was to squeeze, but we did it. So I'm thinking you should be able to as well. As stated above, just give it a try.

Keep your passengers forward. It should work.
A lower pitched prop (17" or 18" pitch) would help.
