Question on fuel pump diaphragms and gaskets

I have two new fuel pump kits for my '86 50hhp mercury carbs. The new kits have a nylon? cut-out along with the rubber diaphragms and gaskets. On the carbs I only have the rubber diapragms and the gaskets. Should I use the new nylon cut-out when reassambling also? If so, in what order do they go on? Thanks, Richard

Yes... the rubber ones won't stand up to Ethanol...get a pic on line on how to assemble..try Doug Russell.com
