question on driving out a gimbal bearing

Have a plate and attached gimbal from an old Mercruiser 165 that is a good spare that needs a home on a buddy's boat. It needs a bearing though.

Is it ok to drive the bearing out from the rear since everything is all out on the bench? Or is there some greater risk of breaking that lip where the bellows attaches as the bearing would get driven out past the thinner part?

Just checking before beating.

Never mind :D .

Wiped it all down a little better. Saw there was no interior lips or any other issue. Drove out no problem.
